What is the qualification and Criteria to write the IELTS?


 Let's briefly think about the qualification and criteria to attend the IELTS examination.

The full form of the IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. This examination is conducted under the supervision of Cambridge English under Cambridge University. Two organizations can be found under Cambridge English. British Council and IDP. The full form of IDP is International Development Program. The exam is conducted under both these organizations. IELTS examination is generally conducted. IELTS is required for a person from a non-English speaking country to go to an English speaking country for higher education, migration, and work visa. Each country must achieve its own criteria/bandscore for these things.

It must be said that there is no specific educational qualification required to write IELTS, but some things are required. Let's see what they are.

First of all. No specific educational qualification. No specific educational qualification is required to write IELTS.

Secondly, No age limit. There is no specific age limit for IELTS, but anyone aged 16 and above is suggested to take IELTS.

Thirdly, Identification (ID) is required. That is, a valid passport is a must to take the IELTS exam. In my personal opinion, it should be valid for at least three years. If not, it would be better to renew your passport and take the IELTS exam. The reason for saying this is that even if your purpose is delayed a little due to some technical reasons after the IELTS exam, do not give yourself the opportunity to face more complications in the name of your passport.

Fourthly, IELTS attempt. You can take the IELTS exam as many times as you want. You just have to be mentally prepared to take it again.

Fifthly, IELTS purpose. If it is for education, take IELTS academic. For work visa, migration etc., take IELTS general training. Understand which of these is your purpose. There is another exam. That is, UKVI UK Visa and Immigration. I will talk about this in another video.

Sixthly, bandscore. In many countries, immigration authorities and universities require me to achieve at least the minimum band score they set.
