But considering this age category, learning another language is not considered possible. Or even if we talk about a child from kindergarten to 2nd standard, it does not seem to be that practical. Because for children from kindergarten to 2nd standard, they are reluctant to leave their parents, and not only do they miss their parents when they are in class. Then there is the stress of learning new things. When they come home after class, they are pressured by their parents to say, "study thoroughly." In short, the mind of children gradually develops from kindergarten and along with it, the mindset changes. Or if you focus only on English from kindergarten, you can see massive development. Otherwise, it will not be so practical. Now from class 3 to 5, from class 6 to class 9, 10th, +1, +2, how many subjects should be studied, and homework, class test, chapter wise test,, tuition, lab, record, final exam, children will have mind-pressure according to their respective classes. After that, there is a period of higher study, job, future, which has its own responsibility, pressure, and then marriage, children, family responsibility, family problem, job responsibility and various problems. In short, when do we start learning English, then your mindset and brain will never be like the mindset of a small child learning a language. I have understood from my experience that. The second thing in the spoken English myth is that if you learn daily sentences, you can speak English. Daily sentences are visually attractive. But using them in practical life is a challenging thing. Let's look at some of the things that you may encounter if you try to learn only daily sentences in the beginning. The first thing is that someone's speaking style is directly injected into you or suggested to follow. If someone speaks to you in a way that is not what you have learned or expected, then either your mind will go blank or you will stay introverted for 4-6 months for fear of making a mistake while speaking English. The second thing is that speaking is not only about saying or answering, but also about understanding what the question is. In short, it is not enough to learn to answer only, but you should also acquire the ability to understand the question. The third thing is that when you learn daily sentences, there will be a speed and style. But if the other person does not speak at the speed or style you expect, your mind will go blank while thinking about what he said, or if you try to talk off topic by hooking into one or two words he said, there will be no connection between what he said and what you are saying. The fourth thing is the method of learning daily sentences without seeing them. This is not at all practical. Because after a while, you may forget them and you may not get the opportunity to use the sentences you have learned when you expect. In unexpected situations, you may not be able to recall the sentences you have learned without seeing them and speak spondeniously. The fifth thing is to try to learn by reading conversation books. As mentioned earlier, when you read such books, they inject you with the speaking methods they have prepared. Moreover, there is a high chance of doubts about many things in the sentence structure of a sentence. Doubts about why this came like this or why that came like that. Moreover, for someone who does not have a reading habit, it is not certain how successful it is to read and learn English conversation books and within the time they want. The sixth thing is that if you have any doubts about daily sentences, the right people who can explain them to you in a way that you can understand may not be there at the times we expect. It is very difficult to learn English quickly like learning languages like Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, etc. Because Malayalam has a linguistic connection with Tamil, Tamil has Kannada, Telugu has Kannada, Telugu has Hindi. Therefore, if you pay a little attention, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi are languages that can be learned quickly. Also, the same thing can be seen in Malayalam learning Hindi quickly. We generally use informal Malayalam. But formal Malayalam words are very close. If you look at the synonyms of a word in Malayalam, it often resembles a Hindi word. Not only that, since Sanskrit is a subject of study in the Kerala syllabus and words in Sanskrit and Hindi are related, a person who knows a little bit of formal Malayalam and Sanskrit will learn Hindi quickly. Or for someone with a basic Malayalam vocabulary, Hindi can be learned quickly and easily. All these languages have a connection. But without understanding this reality, it is very difficult to quickly learn English, which has no connection with the Malayalam language. If you want to learn English by listening, it requires many factors. You need to understand the question and the necessary situation should be around us, the people in our house should be supportive, they should also know how to speak English or are trying to. The friends we interact with should be English speakers. You should hear English most of the time. If you join a common function, it should also be English there. Only then can you learn English to some extent. On the contrary, you cannot understand the question and you hear Malayalam at home, among friends and on other occasions. If you start learning English after hearing the motivation of learning by listening while such a situation exists, you will struggle a lot. Not only that, you need a good speaking partner who is supportive, it is very difficult to get that. So get the right guidance. Also, if you want to learn by speaking, the most important factor is to understand the question. It is very difficult to speak to someone who cannot understand the questions at first. The fifth myth is that the education system is not right. That is why it is difficult to learn English. This is just a serious allegation and there is no basis for it. The govt / federal system that approves this never makes a mistake. Because as part of accurate research, the education system is designed and updated based on the respective age and mindset.
